Approval gates

The operator knows where to stop.

  • G1

Read-only audit approval for production environments

  • G2

Launch decision approval (GO, GO WITH CONDITIONS, or HOLD)

Security constraints

  • Read-only audit by default
  • No deployment, DNS change, analytics change, publishing, or destructive fix without approval
  • Clearly identify checks that could not run because tools or credentials were unavailable
Acceptance criteria

Done has a definition.

  • Produces an explicit GO, GO WITH CONDITIONS, or HOLD decision

  • Separates automated evidence, human visual judgment, and deployment approval

  • Does not equate a passing build with a visually correct release

  • Passes static site, WordPress, and JavaScript application scenarios

Questions

Before you install.

Does Launch deploy my site for me?
No. Launch is a read-only audit by default that helps you make a release decision. It does not perform deployment, DNS changes, analytics changes, publishing, or destructive fixes without your explicit approval.
Can I use Launch for a WordPress site?
Yes. Launch includes checks for static sites, WordPress, and JavaScript applications, so you can use it for WordPress site launches.
What if I don't have access to performance testing tools?
Launch clearly identifies checks that could not run due to missing tools or credentials, so you know what requires manual review or tool acquisition.
